Pauline Mosley

I am a tenured Full Professor of Information Technology at the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, Pace University, on the Pleasantville campus. My professional journey in education began in 1985, when I served as a leading corporate trainer at Personal Computer Learning Centers of America, Inc. During this period, I trained Fortune 500 executives and personnel across a diverse range of software applications and developed specialized computer training manuals. My clientele included prestigious organizations such as IBM, Texaco, Pepsi, The Port Authority, McGraw-Hill, Dannon, NYNEX, and Brooklyn Union Gas.

My deep commitment to teaching led me to transition to academia, where I aim to inspire, encourage, and educate students, with a particular focus on motivating young women to pursue careers in computer science and technology. After nine years as an adjunct professor at various institutions—including Westchester Community College, Iona College, The College of New Rochelle, and Mercy College—I secured a full-time position at Hostos Community College, a CUNY campus. There, I served for a decade and achieved tenure as an Assistant Professor.

In 2000, I joined Pace University with the aspiration of contributing to a four-year university environment. I take great pride in mentoring students and junior faculty, finding immense satisfaction in guiding them toward success and positively impacting their career trajectories through thoughtful support and encouragement.
